October 3, 2005 MEETING - (Approved November, 2005)

1. The Chair B. Ware brought the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Pleasanton Township Hall. He welcomed the Commission Members present.

2. Members present: B.Ware, J.Crampton, S. Hansen, B.Ledford, D.McNeilly, A.Swanson, J. Mathieu, N.Girven, Zoning Administrator.

Members absent: none. Visitors: none
3. Approval or additions to agenda.
The agenda passed out by the Chair was reviewed and a motion to approve as presented was made by D.McNeilly, seconded by S. Hansen. All ayes.

4. Approval of minutes for September 6, 2005.
The minutes were passed out and reviewed. A motion to approve the September 6, 2005 as corrected in paragraph 6, line six changed to Gayle Crampton was made by S. Hansen. Seconded J.Crampton. All ayes.

5. New business and correspondence.
Environmentally sensitive design class on October 20, 2005. Hansen was interested and will follow up if he can go.

6. Unfinished business.
A. Multi-jurisdictional cooperative planning unit, including Pleasanton, Bear Lake Townships and the Village, had a meeting. The Village rep not present. October 4th, 2005 is the next meeting date. The state's Joint Planning Act is what the group would operate under. Members qualification was discussed along with the operating budget and grant request due February 1, 2006. Chair will check with Heather Bacon on other matters. Gayle Crampton will check procedures for joining and withdrawal from the unit.

7. Other business \ ongoing business.
A. Report from Zoning Administrator
Had three new building permits approved and Brian Kaczanowski wants to split 2 Parcels. Some discussion on this. Supervisor Alkire will work with Zoning Administrator and Brian.

8. Tracking future action.
Sewer Planning: next meeting will be October 19, 2005. Townships not able to spend any money on the Sewer Authority work since they had 20% plus "no's". A citizen group is now working to get "yes" petitions out and signed and to get a 51% of land area. Time and the people will decide.

9. Next meeting will be November 7th at 7:00 p.m. Meeting was closed at 8:30 p.m. with no further business to discuss.
